Job Summary

Shared Health is seeking a skilled Adolescent Mental Health Counsellor II to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering direct client care, planning and implementing client treatment plans, and providing therapeutic clinical interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct client care and develop treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to clients and their families.
  • Provide therapeutic clinical interventions and effective milieu management to promote positive outcomes.
  • Identify and utilize community resources to support clients and their families.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of related practical experience.
  • Child and adolescent experience preferred.
Education and Certification
  • University degree with specialization in one of the Social Sciences or Child & Youth Care Worker Diploma Program or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active membership in the Child & Youth Care Worker Association of Manitoba.
