Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Nurse to join our team as an Employed Student Nurse (ESN) at Sechelt Hospital in Sechelt, BC.
Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a nursing student to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting while receiving pay. As an ESN, you will provide direct nursing care to patients/residents/clients under the supervision of experienced nurses and educators.
About Sechelt Hospital
Sechelt Hospital is a 46-bed acute care facility serving over 30,000 residents of the Lower Sunshine Coast. Our hospital provides a range of services, including emergency care, renal program, mental health and substance use services, surgical services, and imaging services.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a recognized nursing education program in BC and in good standing
- Successfully completed 2nd Year of BScN program or equivalent
- Successfully completed at least one Adult Medical or Surgical rotation in BScN program
- Registered (or eligible for registration) with BCCNM as an Employed Student Registrant
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (Healthcare Provider CPR)
