**Welcome to the City of Brooks Parks Services Department**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Parks Maintenance III. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for performing the day-to-day operation and maintenance of all parks, pathways, sports fields, cemeteries, and other related parks amenities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Operate a variety of equipment, including chainsaws, front-end loaders, mowers, hand tools, bucket trucks, and snow removal equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as mowing, pruning, and repairing park facilities.
  • Assist with special events and projects, such as festivals, parades, and park renovations.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of experience in parks operations or a related field.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with Q-endorsement.
  • Pesticide applicator, CSA playground, fall protection, flag person, confined space, standard first aid, WHMIS, ground disturbance, and parks and sport fields operator level 2 certificates.
