Job Summary

Scheltema Trailer Manufacturing Inc is seeking a skilled Trailer Assembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and connecting electrical components, positioning and aligning parts for proper fit and assembly, and inspecting finished products for proper functioning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Installation
    • Read blueprints to determine work requirements
    • Assemble or connect electrical components
    • Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly
    • Connect cables, tubes and wires
  • Inspection and Testing
    • Inspect finished products for proper functioning
    • Check mechanical assemblies and subassemblies for alignment and proper functioning
    • Test and check electrical assemblies and wiring for proper connection
  • Quality Control
    • Make minor adjustments and repairs
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Skills
