Job Title: Director of Structured Finance

About the Role:

As a Director of Structured Finance, you will play a key role in supporting the growth and development of our clients across Canada. You will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and expertise to clients, identifying financial risks, and developing sector-specific funding strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide consulting services to clients, leveraging your expertise in financial markets and products
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve clients' business objectives
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop sector-specific funding strategies and guidelines
  • Support account managers and senior managers in the implementation of new financing files and monitoring of existing files
  • Identify financial risks to the Bank and make recommendations to mitigate them
  • Participate in the preparation of files, including analysis and establishment of financing structures
  • Negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
Requirements:
  • Completed bachelor's degree, related to the industry, and 7 years of relevant experience OR completed Master's degree, related to the industry, and 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in complex trade credit, acquisition loans, and knowledge of business products and services
  • Experience analyzing complex financial models
  • Experience in customer service, negotiation, and business development
  • Ability to manage priorities and timelines
  • Interpersonal skills and team player
