Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physician Specialist to join our team at Pineridge Doctors Office. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine patients' health conditions to identify diseases and injuries
  • Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment
  • Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
  • Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
  • Advise patients on healthcare and report births, deaths, contagious diseases, and other health-related issues to government authorities
  • Provide emergency care and coordinate or manage primary patient care
  • Offer counselling and support to patients and their families on various health and lifestyle issues
Requirements
  • Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment

Our office is a medical clinic where you will work on site, providing care to patients in a physically demanding environment. You will be required to work overtime and manage a large workload.
