Retail Store Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at SHELL GAS STATION. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Order merchandise and authorize returns to maintain an efficient inventory system.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and minimize labor costs.
  • Sell merchandise and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure seamless store operations.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in retail management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Accurate and efficient in managing inventory and sales data.
  • Client-focused and committed to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing store conditions and priorities.
  • Organized and reliable with a strong work ethic.
  • Team player with excellent leadership skills.
