Our roots lie deep in innovation, with a research centre based in Cambridge, UK, conducting research establishing new thresholds in cyber security.

As a Sales Development Representative, you will work on greenfield areas to establish relationships with new customers and uncover high-value opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with new prospective customers and represent Darktrace across your region, identifying potential business opportunities.
  • Identify key decision makers and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, event recruitment, and high-level prospecting.
  • Articulate the value proposition and help customers understand how it will improve their business's information security.
  • Earn trust and develop relationships with senior executives by displaying knowledge, professionalism, and relevance to business issues.
  • Meet set targets and work closely with Marketing and Sales by methodically working on and following up on sales campaigns.
  • Maintain quality relationships with your manager and external customer-facing Account Executives to support new business growth.
  • Consistently achieve quarterly and annual KPIs.
  • Book direct one-to-one meetings at customers' sites and at trade shows.
  • Write succinct emails to highlight the capabilities of our offering.

Salary range: $55,000-$60,000 CAD + commission
