Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at La Rozzi Bistro and Filipino Grocery Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records of staff performance, customer feedback, and other relevant data.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Work Setting: Restaurant
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 32 hours per week
