Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Skycare Compounding Laboratory Inc. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescription Processing: Verify and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all necessary information is complete and up-to-date.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including medications and pharmaceutical products.
  • Client Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with pharmacists and other team members to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment, including sterilization equipment and instrumentation, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Supply Management: Order and manage supplies, including medications and pharmaceutical products, to ensure that they are available when needed.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a pharmacy or related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
Work Environment

Our pharmacy is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
