Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Food Preparation Specialist to join our team at MS Gas Station Ltd. As an integral part of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determining food portions and costs: You will be responsible for determining the size of food portions and estimating the costs associated with meal preparation.
  • Planning menus and estimating food requirements: You will plan menus and estimate the food requirements for their realization, ensuring that we meet the needs of our customers.
  • Cooking complete meals and individual dishes: You will prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Preparing special meals: You will prepare special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef, demonstrating your attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Kitchen inspections and staff training: You will inspect kitchens and food service areas, ensuring that they are clean and safe, and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Supervising kitchen staff: You will supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintaining inventory and records: You will maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to operate smoothly.

Requirements:

  • Work Language: English is the primary language used in this role, so proficiency in English is essential.
  • Hours: The typical working hours are 36 to 40 hours per week, offering a good work-life balance.
