About the Opportunity

The Senior Actuarial and Analytics Lead is a key leadership role that oversees strategy development, execution, and talent management for assigned units. This position drives day-to-day operations within the unit and fosters an environment for effective execution of strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute actuarial and analytic analyses to solve business problems and drive decision-making.
  • Communicate complex information effectively to senior leaders and non-technical teams.
  • Lead and manage talent development processes, including performance and personal development goals.
  • Set and manage expectations with business partners for portfolio of projects.
  • Introduce innovative techniques to optimize analytical outcomes.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of quantitative analysis experience.
  • Demonstrated ability in actuarial and quantitative analysis and statistical concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex information to senior leadership.
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in a STEM field.

Benefits

Travelers Canada offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, employees enjoy comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid company holidays. We also encourage volunteer work and community involvement.
