Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Support Worker to provide care and companionship to individuals and families in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, including aid in ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing and undressing.
  • Plan and prepare meals and special diets, and feed or assist in feeding clients.
  • Perform routine health-related duties, such as changing non-sterile dressings, assisting in the administration of medications, and collecting specimens under the general direction of a home care agency supervisor or nurse.
  • Conduct routine housekeeping duties, including laundry, washing dishes, and making beds.

Requirements:

  • Secondary school education is required.
  • Home care worker experience is an asset.
  • College or other courses in home support are an asset.
  • Completion of a training program in care of the elderly is an asset.
  • Must have a great attitude and patience.
