Your duties will include documenting animal behavior, preparing food and feed, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our animals.
Key Responsibilities- Document animal behavior and maintain accurate records
- Prepare food and feed for animals, ensuring their nutritional needs are met
- Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stalls, and enclosures to maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Assist with inoculation and treatment of animals, under the supervision of our veterinarians
- Maintain and order supplies, ensuring we have everything we need to provide the best care possible
- Provide flea bath treatments to animals, as needed
- Coordinate the work of doctors, nurses, and other staff members to ensure seamless care
- Clean and sterilize the operating room and instruments, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on providing excellent care
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work as part of a team, with a focus on client satisfaction and reliability
- Dental plan and health care plan
- Permanent position, with 35 hours of work per week
