About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at TAAL FINE INDIAN CUISINE. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, including special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
  • Staff Training: Train kitchen staff and helpers in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
  • Kitchen Operations: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and manage kitchen operations.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, and ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
