Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident's plan of care.
- Utilize sound nursing practice principles to deliver excellent nursing and personal care in the assigned home area(s).
- Ensure timely and accessible admissions, comprehensive orientations, and safe resident transfers and discharges.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with others, respecting each resident's individuality and privacy.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and the College of Nurses of Ontario Standards of Practice.
- Medical Clearance, including TB tests, and a Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
All staff are required to adhere to COVID-19 prevention protocols and wear a mask at all times.
