Overview:


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Academic Operations Officer to provide administrative support to the Manager, Academic Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating database and scheduling processes, assisting with faculty assignments and human resource processes, and compiling financial documentation.



About the Role:



  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of academic functions, student systems, college policies, and procedures.
  • A minimum of three years' senior administrative experience in a post-secondary education institution is required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential for this role.


Key Responsibilities:



  2. Facilitate database and scheduling processes to ensure accurate and efficient program delivery.
  3. Assist with faculty assignments and human resource processes to ensure compliance with college policies and procedures.
  4. Compile financial documentation to support budget planning and financial reporting.
  5. Develop tools and reports to analyze faculty assignments and identify areas for improvement.
  6. Maintain and update divisional IT equipment and fixed asset records.
  7. Support special projects and events as required.


Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Three-year diploma or degree in Business Administration or related field with emphasis on communication and project coordination skills.
  • Minimum three years' senior administrative experience in a post-secondary education institution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service experience.
  • Highly effective written and oral communication skills.
