Loss Prevention and Safety Specialist

**Job Summary:**
The Asset Protection Specialist is a crucial role within our organization, primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud. This position also supports safety and environmental program compliance in the assigned region.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Identify incidents of theft and fraud, review CCTV and exception reports, and monitor physical security to minimize loss to our clients.
- Detect and assist with the apprehension of individuals committing theft and fraud against client stores.
- Complete the prosecution process, including reporting to police, case reports, attending court, and testifying as required.
- Investigate and identify issues regarding external theft and shrink causing problems affecting client stores.
**Requirements:**
- A High School education or equivalent is required; a College degree in Criminal Justice, Police Service, or a related field is preferred.
- One year of retail supervisor experience or similar training is preferred.
- One year of loss prevention/security training is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with the Store team.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proven ability to effectively resolve conflict.
**Salary:** The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
