Job Description for Executive Chef at FLAMING WOK

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at FLAMING WOK. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our dishes, ensuring that every meal meets our high standards of quality and taste.

Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and appeal to a wide range of tastes and dietary preferences.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure that we have everything we need to deliver exceptional dishes.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Physically Demanding: This role requires a high level of physical activity, including standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
