Financial Data Analyst for Petro Canada

We are seeking an experienced Financial Data Analyst to join our team at Petro Canada. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position requiring a minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field. You will work 35 hours per week, with a salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Post journal entries
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Reconcile accounts
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Basic security clearance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
