Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our team at Granite Warehouse Inc. This full-time role will be responsible for determining office procedures, scheduling appointments, compiling data, ordering supplies, and performing data entry in a 30-40 hour per week role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administration: Develop and implement office procedures and routines, schedule and confirm appointments, compile data, statistics, and other information, order office supplies and maintain inventory, greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents, perform data entry, maintain and manage digital databases.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work effectively under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Support for Persons with Disabilities: Provide physical, visual, and auditory accessibility accommodations, participate in disability support programs, offer mentorship and training to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in newcomer support programs, assist with settlement needs, support social and labour market integration, recruit displaced workers, provide credential recognition support, offer mentorship and training to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Youth: Participate in youth employment programs, offer on-the-job training and mentorship opportunities, provide awareness training to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Veterans: Participate in veteran support programs, offer mentorship and training to create a welcoming work environment, recruit veterans, assist with transition needs, provide resources for navigating the civilian workforce.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participate in Indigenous support programs, offer mentorship and training to create a welcoming work environment, develop relationships with Indigenous communities and organizations, provide cultural competency training.
  • Support for Mature Workers: Participate in mature worker support programs, apply hiring policies that discourage age discrimination, provide awareness training and mentorship opportunities, offer phased retirement and re-entry options, provide workspace accommodations.
  • Supports for Visible Minorities: Participate in visible minority support programs, apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination, offer mentorship programs, provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • A secondary school graduation certificate.
