The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the Pre-Med program, which is registered with the Ministry of Colleges and Universities. To ensure a smooth teaching experience, courseware, resources, evaluations, and daily lesson plans are provided in an Instructor Manual.

The Instructor is expected to follow the provided instructor manuals and use the resource materials to train students with the required knowledge and skills to prepare them for employment in the field. The college places a premium on professional conduct combined with excellence in classroom instruction, emphasizing hands-on training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging lesson plans and teaching material to deliver courses to Pre-Med students
  • Deliver classes as per schedule and meet desired outcomes for successful program completion
  • Assist students with their learning needs
  • Mark tests, assignments, and exams for the course and provide feedback to students
  • Maintain a positive learning environment in the class
  • Provide guidance to students on the program, its related areas, and higher education opportunities
  • Answer queries related to the program from prospective students or potential clients
  • Input data into computerized databases for student attendance and scores
  • Ensure student satisfaction through feedback after course delivery

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to present information effectively
  • Professional business attire and interpersonal skills to act as a mentor and role model
  • Online teaching skills (training provided)

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience

Qualifications:

  • At least 48 months of work experience in the vocation or
  • 36 months of teaching experience in the vocation and 24 months of work experience in the vocation or
  • 24 months of work experience in the vocation and relevant certifications or degrees
