Job Summary:
We're seeking a highly organized and personable dental receptionist to join our team at Oakmount Dental in Burnaby. As a dental receptionist, you will be responsible for greeting and assisting patients, optimizing appointment schedules, and managing patient calls and inquiries.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients as they arrive, ensuring a lasting positive impression.
- Optimize the appointment schedule to ensure a full day with minimal gaps.
- Effectively manage recall systems and maintain accurate patient databases.
- Manage patient calls and inquiries about appointments, confirmations, amendments, and cancellations.
- Process referral letters and other patient correspondence upon receipt from providers, and manage and file all patient records and charts.
Requirements:
- Clinical background and experience with dental software programs are considered an asset (we use Cleardent).

Hourly Wage: The hourly wage range is starting from $ per hour, depending on experience. Hourly wage is determined based on the candidate's work experience and will be discussed during the interview process.
