Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

At Mucho Burrito, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have a skilled and motivated team to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.

Our fast-paced environment requires a team player who can work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of productivity. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to stand for extended periods, work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and maintain a high level of physical fitness.
