Strategic Leader for Indigenous Partnerships

At Beta-i • collaborative innovation, we are seeking an exceptional Strategic Leader for Indigenous Partnerships to join our team.
About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned leader with a strong background in policy, programming, research, administration, or negotiation, preferably in First Nations/Métis/Inuit organizations. The successful candidate will have a minimum of seven years of relevant experience and a Master's level or advanced degree, preferably in Law.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as strong multi-tasking, time-management, and organizational abilities. They will be proficient in various software applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and have a willingness to learn additional programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures and the decisions of the Governing Circle
- Advises and supports the Executive Director on issues, change management, and administrative matters.
- Courts any necessary supports to major fundraising initiatives.
- Coordinates with Unit Leads to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develops an effective project reporting template for projects and initiatives.
- Supports the Executive Director in the implementation and evaluation of NCTR's Strategic Plan.
- Ensures that all NCTR operations have the capacity needed and are oriented to the fulfillment of the Strategic Plan.
- Ensuring the effective functioning of the Governing Circle and Survivor's Circle.
- Maintaining up-to-date by-laws.
