Inventory Control Supervisor Job Summary

At A-1 Cash and Carry, we are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Prepare and submit reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.
  • Ensure the maintenance and repair of computer equipment and machinery to prevent downtime.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Recruit and hire staff as needed.
  • Train workers in duties and policies.
  • Arrange training for staff as needed.
  • Conduct performance reviews to ensure employees are meeting expectations.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics to ensure smooth operations.
