Job Summary

">

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle payroll management, preferably using ADP Workforce Now. They will be responsible for overseeing the entire compensation process, ensuring accurate and timely payments for all employees.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Manage the bi-weekly payroll process for approximately 400 salaried and hourly employees, including time and attendance approvals.">
  • Review time and attendance data using ADP Workforce Now or Ceridian software.">
  • Track vacation, sick leave, and lieu days for all staff members.">
  • Prepare labor cost reports and detailed payroll reports.">
  • Approve timesheets and invoices for agency staff.">
  • Administer employee benefit plans with Canada Life and company pension plans.">
  • Assist with new hire onboarding, orientation, and employee terminations.">
  • Perform various payroll-related tasks and some HR functions as required.">

Health and Safety

  • Conduct job tasks safely and responsibly.">
  • Possess knowledge of workplace safety and proper lifting/handling procedures.">
  • Participate in Health and Safety, GMP, and HACCP training sessions as required.">
  • Engage in the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC).">
  • Report accidents, incidents, or hazardous conditions to your lead hand or supervisor.">
  • Ensure compliance with OHSA, WSIB, MOL regulations, and workplace safety rules.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education.">
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in full-cycle payroll management, preferably using ADP Workforce Now.">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with sound judgment, tact, and discretion.">
  • Strong analytical skills with effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.">
  • Proficiency in Excel.">
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.">
  • PCP/CPM designation or working towards a payroll designation.">
