Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Specialist to join our team in Brantford, ON.
As a key member of the manufacturing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing best practices in paint department processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leading projects related to manufacturing paint lines and future designs.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience with powder paint applications, CAD skills (Inventor, AutoCAD), and expertise in quality systems and processes. A degree or diploma in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects from development to implementation, ensuring successful handover to operations
- Drive continuous improvement and optimization of paint lines for enhanced performance
- Implement maintenance and preventative maintenance strategies to minimize machine downtime
- Develop manufacturing strategies for new projects through feasibility studies, project timing assessments, and cost estimates
- Provide technical support for evaluating various manufacturing scenarios
