Job Title: Senior Environmental Engineer/Regional Manager

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Engineer/Regional Manager to join our team in Yellowknife, NT. As a key member of our environmental team, you will be responsible for leading environmental investigations and remediation projects in the Territories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the execution of environmental investigations and remediation in the Territories
  • Participate in all phases of the remediation life cycle, from assessment to closure
  • Provide technical support for environmental investigation and remediation projects
  • Prepare and review technical documents
  • Lead safety initiatives and participate in field meetings
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and project partners
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering or sciences discipline
  • Registered Professional Engineer in the Northwest Territories (or eligible for licensing)
  • 6 years' experience as an environmental consultant, industry representative, or regulator
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience working in the Canadian North and on federally-regulated project sites
  • Experience with land and water boards
  • 10 years experience in Environmental Site assessment and Remediation
