Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Therapist Assistant to join our team at Dynamic Physiotherapy (SG) Inc. As a key member of our physiotherapy team, you will work closely with licensed physiotherapists and occupational therapists to provide high-quality patient care.

About the Role
  • This is a permanent position requiring 30-40 hours of work per week.
  • The ideal candidate will have a Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience in physiotherapy rehabilitation.
  • You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patients' physical abilities, administering evaluative tests and procedures, and assisting chiropractors with patient health education.

Responsibilities
  1. Assess patients' physical abilities and develop treatment plans under the direction of licensed physiotherapists.
  2. Carry out treatment programs to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities.
  3. Position patients for treatments by chiropractor or machine, as directed.
  4. Administer evaluative tests and procedures to assess patients' progress.
  5. Clean and maintain equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
  6. Assist chiropractors with patient health education and provide information on exercise programs.
  7. Document patient rehabilitation progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • A Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience in physiotherapy rehabilitation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, staff, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Availability to work 30-40 hours per week in a flexible schedule.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, based on the location and industry standards. This amount may vary depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
