Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Acropolis Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as supervising kitchen staff and helpers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we are always stocked and ready to meet customer demand.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on quality and presentation.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering results in a timely manner.
