Physiotherapist - Rehabilitation Services Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our Rehabilitation Services team. As a key member of our team, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities. You will provide services in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings, and educate and communicate with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree or entry-level master's program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university. Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists is also required. You should have computer skills, including statistics input, word processing, and Outlook. Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification is also necessary. Additionally, you should have competencies in other languages, with French being an asset.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.
- Provide services in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings.
- Educate and communicate with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers.
- Supervise and evaluate physiotherapy students and supervise assistants.
- Bachelor's degree or entry-level master's program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university.
- Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists.
- Computer skills, including statistics input, word processing, and Outlook.
- Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification.
- Competencies in other languages, with French being an asset.
This is a part-time long assignment, with 50% of 37.5 hours bi-weekly. The successful candidate may be required to provide services anywhere within the Rehabilitation Services portfolio.
Compensation and IncentivesThe hourly rate for this position is $42.89. Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
