About Our Team

At Michael Page, we are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to join our team and manage water treatment plants and other industrial projects across Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee water treatment and wastewater treatment facility construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered successfully and meet project specifications.
  • Create and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders involved in the project.
  • Conduct regular site visits to track progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Facilitate clear communication among all project participants, including clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
  • Prepare and present project status updates to senior management and clients.
  • Identify potential risks and issues, proactively addressing challenges as they arise.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in construction project management within a General Contractor in the ICI and civil sectors and particularly in water treatment and wastewater treatment facility projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes in the ICI and civil sectors, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Educational background in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency with project management software and tools.
  • Proven time management abilities to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
