About the Position

At Prairie Mountain Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a LPN with our organization, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive nursing care to patients/residents/clients in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Practice nursing within the scope of practice of the Licensed Practical Nurses Act, the approved College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM) Scope of Practice and Entry-Level Competencies, provincial and federal legislation, and within the guidelines of professional ethics;">
• Obtain and maintain relevant competencies for the position as offered by PMH;">
• Perform duties in accordance with the Licensed Practical Nurses Act of Manitoba, CLPNM Standards of Practice, CLPNM Code of Ethics, and Scope of Practice Entry Level Competencies;">
• Work effectively and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, clients, and within interdisciplinary teams;">
• Demonstrate problem-solving and decision-making skills, organizational skills, ability to work independently, and flexibility to facilitate changes in techniques and procedures in a changing environment.">

Requirements

• ">
• Active practicing licensure with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM), or eligible for active practicing licensure with the CLPNM;">
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Training as delineated in Prairie Mountain Health Policy PPG-00002 CPR Training;">
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider (P) and Renewal (R);">
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Provider and Recertification;">
• Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS);">
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP);">
• Introduction to Fetal Heart Monitoring (online course);">
• Fetal Health Surveillance;">
• Satisfactory employment record required.">

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $55,500 - $69,600 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
