About the Role:

The Radiation Therapy Department at Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Resource Radiation Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating staff activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate resources for patient care and supervise staff within the department
  • Provide a supportive environment for teaching and research commitments
  • Assess and plan staff activities to meet the mission, values, and objectives of the organization
  • Implement and evaluate staff activities to ensure quality patient care

Requirements:

  • Current registration or eligibility to register with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • Current certificate for CPR-BLS Provider
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior radiation therapist position or equivalent experience
  • Satisfactory employment record
  • Ability to legally work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Radiation Therapy or related field
  • Advanced credential in management or leadership
  • Personal suitability as demonstrated through a professional portfolio

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. The incumbent must also be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
