Job Title: Senior Solution ArchitectOverview:

Career opportunities abound in the Business IT Delivery team at National Bank. As a Senior Solution Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping large-scale projects, fostering innovation, and driving business growth.

Job Description:
  • Design quality end-to-end technical solutions aligned with business and architectural objectives by collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, platforms, and tools to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry standards.
  • Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to solve complex problems while delivering composable and iterative architectures.
  • Produce cloud-native or hybrid solutions using AWS cloud services, such as Serverless and containers.
  • Develop and implement robust security measures to protect data, applications, and systems, ensuring compliance with data security, privacy, and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or information technology completed, and eight to ten years of relevant experience.
  • AWS Solution Architect Associate and/or Professional certification is an asset.
  • Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, with a focus on large-scale, complex solutions.
  • Experience with agile methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of software design and development.
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud services, such as EKS and Serverless, as well as structured and unstructured databases, like RDS, Dynamo DB, and S3.
  • Excellent communication and influence skills.
  • Strong ability to synthesize, analyze, and popularize.
