Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Agricultural Business Development Manager to join our team at Manulife Wealth. This is a key role that will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with advisors, managing internal departmental processes, and fostering collaboration with internal stakeholders.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership experience, with a strong understanding of wealth management products, services, and industry regulations. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining excellent relationships with advisors, acting as a champion for our solutions, and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.

This position reports directly to the Director, Advisor Experience of Manulife Wealth and supports the initiatives being managed and the accompanying change management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Built and maintained strong relationships with advisors through regular communication and support
  • Acted as a champion for our solutions, engaging other departments and possibly other Manulife Business Units and field partners
  • Resolved issues in a timely and effective manner, acting professionally and in alignment with Manulife values
  • Managed several internal departmental processes and provided ongoing support for other members of the advisor support team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team
  • Strong knowledge of technology used by advisors, including back-office systems, portfolio management tools, and financial planning software
  • Strong listening, consultative, and relationship management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
