Job Title: Childcare Program Director

About the Job
Safari Kid is seeking an experienced Daycare Supervisor to oversee our childcare programs and staff. This is a permanent position requiring 2 years of experience and a college diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities
• Develop and implement child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development in children.
• Supervise and train staff, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
• Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Assist early childhood educators in planning and executing educational activities.
• Order necessary supplies and equipment for the childcare center.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and staff performance.
• Establish guidelines for behavior and ensure compliance among staff and children.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive work environment and provide excellent care to children.

Requirements
• College diploma or equivalent (CEGEP or non-university certificate/diploma).
• 2 years of experience as a daycare supervisor or similar role.
• Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) and holder of an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Familiarity with licensing regulations and ability to ensure compliance.
• Physical ability to perform tasks related to childcare, including lifting and standing for extended periods.

Working Conditions
