Dishroom Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated Dishroom Attendant to join our team at Compass Group Canada.

The Dishroom Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dishroom, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are sanitized and stored properly. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) on a regular basis.

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishroom
• Sanitize and store all dishes, utensils, and equipment
• Load buspans and trays
• Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
• Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
• Package take-out food
• Portion and wrap foods

The successful candidate will also be required to maintain a high level of attention to detail, adhere to safety and sanitation procedures, and work effectively in a team environment.

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) on a regular basis
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
