About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Security Engineer III to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing secure operating systems, networks, security monitoring, and tuning. You will also manage our IT security systems and applications, respond to security incidents, and conduct risk and vulnerability assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure operating systems, networks, and security monitoring systems
  • Manage IT security systems and applications, including incident response and digital forensics
  • Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security threats
  • Develop and implement security controls to protect our systems and data
  • Research and evaluate new security tools, techniques, and technologies to stay ahead of emerging threats

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Security, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in IT security
  • Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility and current CI polygraph U.S. Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • ISSM CAP, CISSP, or CISM Certification
  • ISSE CAP, CISSP-ISSEP Certification
  • ISSO Security+, CISA, or CASP+ Certification
  • Extensive Splunk experience and/or Certification
  • MCSE, Linux, and/or CCNP Security Certification
