Head of Talent Acquisition and People Development

About the Role:
The Talent Acquisition and People Development Lead will play a critical role in shaping the human resources strategy and implementing effective recruitment and talent management practices at Rehab First Inc. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR professional to join our team and contribute to the company's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract and retain top talent in the healthcare industry.
- Collaborate with the Executive Management Team to design and implement HR solutions that support the company's business objectives.
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, and interview coordination.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including management, healthcare providers, and industry partners.
- Administer and help establish the company's compensation and benefits, training, and HR-related legal and regulatory practices and policies.
- Provide guidance and support to the Assistant Talent Acquisition and People Development Manager.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Extensive experience in human resources management, specializing in cultivating positive employee relations and successfully acquiring and supporting top-tier healthcare talent.
- Experience in the Canadian private and public healthcare sectors is preferred.
- Proven ability to source and develop talent, manage projects from inception to completion, organize and prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve outcomes aligned with the company's goals.
- Proficient in computer technology and applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and Zoom.
