About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MIG welder to join our team at 0731048 MANITOBA LTD. As a MIG welder, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure high-quality welds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding and Fabrication: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure high-quality welds.
  • Quality Control: Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Computer-Aided Design (CAD): Utilize CAD software to design and create welding plans.
  • Material Handling: Work with various types of materials, including aluminum alloys, stainless steel, and steel, iron, and heavy metals.
  • Custom Fabrication: Specialize in custom fabrication, creating unique and complex welds.
Work Environment

As a MIG welder at 0731048 MANITOBA LTD, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs). You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in MIG welding.
  • Skills: Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, and organization.
