Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping/Laundry Aide to join our team at Radiant Care Tabor Manor. As a key member of our Environmental Services department, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning tasks and assigned custodial duties, to ensure the home environment meets the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs of residents.
  • Adhere to daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning check-off lists, workplace policies, audit sheets, and routines.
  • Transport soiled linen/laundry from various areas to the laundry room, wash, dry, fold, and transport linen/clothing according to procedures.
  • Communicate equipment and supply needs and report safety hazards.
  • Provide excellent customer service in a respectful, courteous, and pleasant manner.
  • Work co-operatively with team members.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Capable of meeting the physical and mental requirements of the position.
  • Knowledge and experience in housekeeping operations and equipment used in cleaning and laundry processes.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Knowledge of WHMIS and Fire Safety Procedures.
