Job Title: Edmonton City Centre Security Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced security professional to join our team at Paladin Security. As an integral part of our security operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients, employees, and visitors.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a high level of awareness and visibility throughout the site, monitoring cameras, alarm systems, and visitor traffic to prevent potential threats and ensure compliance with site policies and procedures.
  • Respond to emergency situations, including security alarms, medical emergencies, and other incidents, using your skills and training to resolve the situation safely and effectively.
  • Conduct regular patrols to identify and address potential risks, reporting any concerns or incidents to management.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and secure environment, communicating effectively through two-way radios and computer applications.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders, including clients, employees, and law enforcement agencies.
  • Excellent observation and active listening skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Basic first aid and CPR certification, with the ability to provide medical response when required.
