Job Opportunity at Alio Health Services

We are seeking experienced Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLTs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide in-home support to patients in various cities across Nova Scotia. This is a great casual/part-time opportunity to supplement your existing income.

About the Role
  • Administer in-home infusions and injections, providing educational training and supervision in the use of auto-injection and self-injection devices.
  • Phlebotomy services for patients.
  • Schedule appointments directly with patients or designated caregivers, ensuring flexibility in scheduling.
  • Visit patients at their homes or approved locations, providing follow-up care as needed.
  • Complete required charting using our automated proprietary system, adhering to deadlines.
  • Report any adverse events within 24 hours.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A valid MLT or RN license in Nova Scotia.
  • A valid NVCI Blue Card and Phlebotomy Competency exam.
  • CPR certification.
  • At least two years of hands-on nursing experience post-graduation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong documentation and time management skills.
  • Customer service skills for interacting with patients, healthcare professionals, and industry personnel.
  • A reliable home office setup with computer, internet connection, mobile phone, and insured vehicle.
