Facilities Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team at Fastrack Maintenance Services Inc. in the role of Cleaning Supervisor.
About the Role:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of cleaning staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety across various sites.
- Key responsibilities include hiring, training, and managing a team of cleaners, as well as inspecting sites to identify areas for improvement.

Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, and arrange for the training of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of workers to guarantee efficiency and quality in cleaning services.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with safety and cleanliness standards, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions when necessary.
- Recommend or arrange for additional services required, such as painting, repairs, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment, to maintain high-quality facilities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless work activities and efficient use of resources.
- Establish and manage work schedules to meet the needs of the business and ensure adequate staffing levels.
Requirements:
- Degree in a related field (e.g., facility management, business administration) or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role within the facilities management sector.
- Possession of excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Able to work under pressure and prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
What We Offer:
- An attractive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
