Pita Pit is seeking a seasoned leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our dining establishments. As a Dining Establishment Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our restaurants run smoothly and efficiently.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and manage staff members.

  • We are offering a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • This full-time position requires 30-35 hours of work per week.
  • The language of work is English.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities
  • Establishing methods to meet work schedules and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards;
  • Requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, as well as maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage;
  • Supervising and coordinating activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training them in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures;
  • Estimating ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and preparing food order summaries for the chef;
  • Ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards and addressing customers' complaints or concerns;
  • Maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, as well as preparing and submitting reports;
  • Supervising and checking assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys;
  • Establishing work schedules and supervising a team of 3-4 people.
