Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate costs and materials for construction projects
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Prepare production and other reports to track project progress
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Recommend personnel actions and requisition materials and supplies
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure timely completion and quality of work
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure workers have the necessary skills to complete projects

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in construction management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
