Personal Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Nithview Community, a seniors' community in New Hamburg. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide basic care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities
  • Deliver medication as required
  • Observe and report changes in residents' physical and emotional condition
Requirements:
  • Personal Support Worker certificate from an accredited Ontario Community College or a Registered Private College
  • Comprehensive knowledge of providing person-centered care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
  • Medication administration experience preferred
  • Effective customer service skills and a demonstrated commitment to working with seniors
