Job Title: Truck Coach Mechanic

Location: Orangeville, ON

Wage: Starting at $35 per hour

Shift Options:

  • 4:00 AM– 3:00 PM
  • 3:00 PM – 2:00 AM shift premium: $1 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs and preventive maintenance services.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
  • Use vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes for repairs.
  • Complete all work within Standard Repair Times (SRTs).
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns with service calls.
  • Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
  • Complete necessary paperwork using fleet maintenance software for repairs, documenting parts usage and tracking repair times.
  • Review and address repairs noted in Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
  • Perform other maintenance-related tasks as required.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive, truck, or light/heavy equipment maintenance and repair or completion of a vocational technical school program.
  • Must hold a valid 310T license.
  • Valid driver's license required.
